New York -- The number of Americans seeking facial plastic surgery is on the rise. The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery reports a 22 percent increase overall in cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures in 2004, compared to 2003. The annual study shows that the most sought-after procedures were filler injections, up 115 percent, and Botox injections, up 107 percent. Significant increases were reported among men, with laser resurfacing and forehead lifts rising almost 300 percent and Botox injections climbing 210 percent.
